Friday, Aug. 18: PLEASE NOTE: THE CAPTAINS CLUB IS NOT PART OF LAKE COUNTY CAPTAINS STADIUM, AND YOU ARE ENCOURAGED TO COME TO THE CAPTAINS CLUB BEFORE, AFTER AND/OR DURING THE GAME Lake County Captains Baseball (our Class A Minor League Team affiliated with the Cleveland Indians) at Classic Park 35300 Vine Street, Eastlake, www.captainsbaseball.com. You have several choices: You can attend the game ($7 per box seat behind home plate) by either including the price for your tickets when you send in your reservation or pay the committee on August 18 or August 19. As of August 15, all reserved tickets are taken. Head over to the Captains Club, 34820 Vine St. in Eastlake, where you can mingle with classmates and teachers in the non-smoking (or smoking) area of the club, allowing you to have refreshments or dinner. Some of us may skip the game and just show up at the club to keep tabs on the game and see the fireworks at the end of the game. LARRY NOVAK* will D-J that evening playing 'our music'.
